Horno is a traditional oven of Taos Pueblo Indians which is beehive-shaped wood-heated outdoor oven made of mud, straw, rocks and adobe bricks. It is used for steaming corn; for roasting meat, pumpkin and chiles; for baking bread and pastries; and for firing pottery.
